Tournaments to be Hosted on Ubique’s Swarmio eSports Platform
Toronto, Mar. 7, 2018 – Ubique Networks, provider of the Swarmio Esports Platform – the world’s only vertically integrated lag-free esports platform, will be co-sponsoring the US$10,000 prize pool CounterStrike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) tournament at EGLX2018, Canada’s largest gaming expo during Mar 9-11 at the International Centre near Toronto.
More than 15,000 gamers, game enthusiasts, indie game developers, esports celebrities, game store representatives and others are expected to attend the event, organized by Enthusiast Gaming Inc., which will also be a co-sponsor of the EGLX-Swarmio CS:GO tournament.
Besides CS:GO, EGLX will also host Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros, Halo 5, Dragonball FighterZ and Street Fighter tournaments.

The EGLX-Swarmio CS:GO tournament series began with an open 64-Team Online Qualifier on February 3rd on Ubique’s Swarmio Esports Platform. The EGLX CSGO LAN series will include a 32-team qualifier tournament open to any CS:GO team on March 9th, and an 8-team EGLX CSGO Final concluding on March 11th.
64 Team Online Qualifier
February 17th, 2018: Top 4 Teams from the EGLX Online Qualifiers have been decided.
They are: Blacked, Cruxie's Farmers, Horizon Union, and Not 2 Creative
March 3rd, 2018: Top 4 EGLX Online Qualifier Teams competed in a seeding tournament to decide their place at EGLX CS:GO Tournament Finals.
32 Team LAN Qualifier
32 teams will compete on the floor of EGLX on March 9th in a Bring Your Own Computer LAN qualifier.
The 32 team LAN Qualifiers will decide 4 teams of the final 8 that will compete on the main stage of EGLX.
Final 8 Main Stage Competition
The Final 8 teams to compete on the main stage of EGLX will be as follows: 4 from the EGLX Online Qualifiers and 4 Teams from the EGLX LAN Qualifiers.
They will compete on the main stage on March 10th and 11th for a prize pool of $10k. The prize pool breakdown is as follows:
Quarter Finals: March 10th, 7:00pm
Semi-Finals: March 11th, 12:00pm
Finals: March 11th, 4:00pm
